Abstract

My research focuses on passive remote sensing, radiative transfer in the Earth's atmosphere, and the interaction of solar radiation with clouds and the biosphere. I use spectral measurements of solar and terrestrial radiation, and combine these with radiation simulations. This allows cloud properties to be determined, understood, and simulated in models.
