Mathematics Preparation Course 2020

In the winter semester 2020/21, a Mathematics Preparation Course for all new students in the subjects physics, IPSP and meteorology is planned at our faculty. Essential mathematical content is repeated and refreshed during this course. According to the current status, the course will take place on 12–16 October 2020.

Your participation in the Mathematics Preparation Course is voluntary. However, registration is required by 30 September 2020. To do this, please register by email from your university email address.

The contents of the Mathematics Preparation Course include:

  • functions
  • differentiation and integration of functions of one variable
  • vectors

Introductory Events

Physics

An introductory event for the bachelor's course of study Physics is planned as follows:

  • Thursday, 22 October 2020, 09.15am–10.45am

The event will take place in the Large Lecture Hall at Linnéstraße 5.

Changes are possible.

IPSP

An introductory event for the bachelor's course of study International Physics Studies Program (IPSP) is planned as follows:

  • Friday, 23 October 2020, 11.00am–01.00pm

The event will take place in the Large Lecture Hall at Linnéstraße 5.

Teaching Degree Programmes Physics

An introductory event for the teaching degree programmes with the core subject physics is planned as follows:

  • Wednesday, 21 October 2020, 9.00am–10.30am
  • Friday, 23 October 2020, 9.00am–10.30am (alternatively)

Both events will take place in the Large Lecture Hall at Linnéstraße 5.

Meteorology

An introductory event for the bachelor's and master's courses of study Meteorology is planned as follows:

  • Wednesday, 21 October 2020, 01.00pm–02.00pm

The event will take place in the Large Lecture Hall at Linnéstraße 5.
