Profile
Abstract
My interest are synoptic-scale air mass exchanges between the lower latitudes and the central Arctic. By applying kinematic trajectory analysis, the focus of my investigation are the Lagrangian characteristics of Cold Air Outbreaks and Warm Air Intrusions. One key goal is the forecast of such events, and using this forecast as input into atmospheric flight planning.
