Module Handbook for the B.Sc. Physics Course Available

In the "Physics Teaching" project, a module handbook for students of the bachelor's degree program in physics has been developed over the last few months. Besides a short introduction of our faculty, into the study program and of contact persons, the main goal is to present possible specializations in for students by means of model study plans.

For seven different specializations, suitable courses from the elective area are listed in the model plans. For example, students, which are interested in semiconductor physics, soft matter physics or relativity and theoretical particle physics, will now find suitable model study plans in the module handbook. The short introduction of all institutes also enables students to find out in which department the respective research areas are in the focus of current research.

The module descriptions are also presented in the module handbook in a visually appealing form and sorted by topic. The appendix contains further important information, e.g., on examinations, deadlines, sick leave and the path for passing a module.

Questions, requests for additions and corrections are welcome! Please contact our Dean of Studies, Prof. Dr. Michael Ziese (E-Mail) or our head of the office for study affairs, Dr. Christian Chmelik (E-Mail).
